William C. Ostlund
  Bill was born and raised in Webster City, Iowa.  He attended Butler College where he played four sports and attained many student honors including Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities and class president to name a few.  Bill was operating a farm implements business in the Webster City area at the time of the attack at Pearl Harbor. 
  Here are a few photos of remembrance of this young man who was married 14 months before his death to Peggy Burrell of Indianapolis and died at the age of 25 on Gudgeon's 12th patrol.
